- Arches and skylights can be covered with Cellular shades to match the other windows in the room.
- Side framing of the shade is offered for those rooms where you want complete darkness.
- Vertical cellular shades can cover the expanse of large windows and sliding glass doors.
- Because air gets trapped inside of the cells, Cellular shades act as great insulators. This helps to maintain the temperature inside of your home.
- When opened, they easily compact at the top of the window.
- Very little light gaps with this type of shade. It does depend on the manufacturer and the installation.
- Sliding glass doors can have Cellular Sliders installed. Hunter Douglas offers Vertiglide, which creates a low profile so the shades are not intrusive once opened.
- Reduces noise. The degree of noise reduction varies depending on the type of fabric.
